Dr. Salman Cardiologist JacksonvilleWaddah Salman, MD is ranked one of Jacksonville’s Top Doctors. With over 20 years’ experience, he specializes in Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Vascular and Endovascular Medicine. Dr. Salman received his medical Degree from Tichreen University – School of Medicine in Lattakia, Syria in 1992. He completed his internship at St. Barnabas Hospital, an affiliate of Cornell Medical Center, in Bronx, NY in 1995. He then went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Michigan State University in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1997. Following that he completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Pittsburg in 2003, to complete a fellowship in interventional cardiology. Dr. Salman holds multiple board certifications​, including certifications in cardiology, nuclear cardiology, vascular and endovascular medicine.

​After four years of practicing cardiology in Kalamazoo Michigan, Dr. Salman joined Jacksonville Cardiovascular Center in Jacksonville, Florida in 2007.
Dr. Salman has been providing cardiovascular care to the Jacksonville community since then. Dr. Salman currently serves of President and CEO of JCC.

It is in Jacksonville, that he met his wife of 12 years, Hala, whom he has three daughters with, Yasmine, Ava and Ana.

Dr. Salman is credentialed to work out of Memorial Hospital Jacksonville and St. Vincent’s Hospital. At Memorial Hospital, he is the director of catherization lab, and was recently named Chief Section of Cardiology. He serves on several committees.

In his free time, Dr. Salman likes to spend time with his large extended family and enjoys playing tennis.
