Jacksonville Cardiovascular Center is pleased to announce that our very own, Waddah Salman, M.D., has been named the Chief Section of Cardiology for Memorial Hospital Jacksonville beginning January 1, 2018.
Dr. Salman has over 20 years’ experience in the field and has been affiliated with Memorial Hospital for over 10 years. He served as the Director of the Catheterization Lab at Memorial for nearly 6 years. Dr. Salman specializes in Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear, Vascular and Endovascular Medicine.
“I am very excited to lead the Department of Cardiology at Memorial. Over the last several years, I have had the opportunity to watch this outstanding group of physicians flourish and it is such a honor to be named into this position” says Salman.
Dr. Salman joined Jacksonville Cardiovascular Center following a partnership in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 2006. Dr. Salman is happily married to his wife Hala, and has three daughters, Yasmine, Ava and Ana.
Dr. Salman looks forward to continuing to provide care for his patients in the office and the hospital.
